In Filipino culture, December marks the season of celebrations, honoring traditions, and embracing the community spirit. For Aboitiz Foods team members based in the Philippines, with the help of the Aboitiz Foundation, it has become a meaningful tradition to spread holiday cheer to its partner communities nationwide through its annual Community Christmas Outreach program. 

Beyond the usual donations, Aboitiz Foods team members also actively organize fundraising activities to spread the program’s benefits and reach more families. 

In 2024, Aboitiz Foods reached out to its partner communities from Brgy. Magsaysay in Talugtug, Nueva Ecija, the Aeta community of Brgy, Bueno in Capas, Tarlac, Brgy. Sto. Niño in Bamban, Tarlac, and Brgy. Dalipuga in Iligan City. 

Over 160 Aboitiz Foods employees participated in the Community Christmas Outreach activities from November 21 to December 7, 2024. They engaged community members with interactive games and distributed over 760 Christmas packages. 

Aboitiz Foods team members from the Farms team distributed grocery packages to the Aeta community of Brgy, Bueno in Capas, Tarlac on November 23, 2024.

On November 21, 2024, Brgy, Magsaysay, Talugtug, Nueva Ecija residents received grocery bags and food items. On November 23, 2024, the Aeta Community of Brgy. Bueno, Capas, and Tarlac received trays of eggs, bags of rice, canned biscuits, hygiene kits, and other grocery essentials. The Philippine Army 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, led by Colonel Ryan Villar, ARM (GSC) PA, and Captain Hannah Diva, also helped the Aboitiz Foods team members distribute the goods. On December 6, 2024, residents of Brgy. Sto. Niño in Bamban, Tarlac, received trays of eggs, grocery bags, and food items. Meanwhile on December 7, Tthe 33rd Mechanized Infantry – Hunter Company, led by 1LT Marvin Cadungog (ARM) PA, assisted in delivering Christmas packages to the residents of Brgy. Dalipuga, Iligan City.This marks the third consecutive year that these residents have received Christmas packages with essential grocery items.

Through this community outreach, Aboitiz Foods Philippines and its team members continue to live out the Aboitiz value of teamwork by making work more meaningful and fun. “The Aboitiz Foods Community Christmas Outreach was a heartwarming team effort, with team members nationwide uniting through fundraising initiatives to make it a success. In total, over 760 families nationwide received various presents from Aboitiz Foods. The chosen communities also hold a special significance as they are where Aboitiz Foods’ facilities are located, making them a long-standing company partner. Through its Community Christmas Outreach program, Aboitiz Foods continues to foster the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among one another and its long-standing partnerships with the communities.
