The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated across East and Southeast Asia and embodies themes of gratitude, renewal, and hope. Aboitiz Foods believes that nourishing the future goes beyond food and nutrition—it’s also about nurturing the potential of tomorrow’s leaders: students.
In line with this commitment, Gold Coin Vietnam, an Aboitiz Foods company, collaborated with the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Finance, and Provincial Children’s Fund Sponsorship Council. Together they provided financial aid to children from Di An City, Binh Duong Province during the 23rd Mid-Autumn Festival and Scholarship Awarding Ceremony for Students Overcoming Difficulties and Children in Difficult Circumstances.
The ceremony, held at the Conference and Exhibition Center Hall of the Binh Duong Provincial Administrative Center, was attended by various companies and sponsors. The event featured
the awarding of scholarships to students, the distribution of bicycles and computers, and the launch of long-term support programs for children orphaned by COVID-19.
Gold Coin Vietnam contributed a total of 29,600,000 VND to support this initiative, which will provide support for the student’s education while also providing food and gifts for their families to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Each child received a gift package valued at 800,000 VND, which included 450,000 VND in cash and 350,000 VND in items such as mooncakes, candies, milk, and notebooks.
Gold Coin Vietnam’s participation in this initiative, aligned with Aboitiz Foods’ mission to nurture communities, demonstrates its dedication to nourishing the future by empowering students through education and opportunity.
