Pada tanggal 20 Maret 2024, Senat Filipina menyerukan pengesahan RUU Senat 2458, yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki Undang-Undang Kesejahteraan Hewan, meningkatkan pendidikan dan mengatasi masalah kesejahteraan hewan.
