của Đồng Tháp dọc theo Sông Cửu Long ở Thành phố Hồng Ngự

Để chứng minh cam kết tạo ra tác động tích cực đến xã hội và trao quyền cho cộng đồng địa phương, Công ty TNHH Pilmico Việt Nam, một công ty của Aboitiz Foods, gần đây đã hợp tác với Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển nông thôn, Ủy ban nhân dân tỉnh Đồng Tháp và một số công ty đối tác để tổ chức sáng kiến thả cá. Sự kiện nhằm mục đích phục hồi nguồn lợi thủy sản, diễn ra tại thành phố Hồng Ngự, Đồng Tháp vào ngày 11 tháng 10. 

Nguồn lợi thủy sản tại thành phố Hồng Ngự rất quan trọng vì chúng là nguồn thực phẩm cho người dân và đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc duy trì sự cân bằng của hệ sinh thái môi trường. Tuy nhiên, các nguồn lợi này đã bị ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng bởi tình trạng đánh bắt quá mức, biến đổi khí hậu và ô nhiễm. Cơ sở Pilmico Việt Nam tại Đồng Tháp sản xuất các sản phẩm chất lượng cao cho 

Ngành nuôi trồng thủy sản, tập trung vào các loài như cá tra và tôm, đóng vai trò quan trọng trong ngành nuôi trồng thủy sản của khu vực. 

Tổng số tiền quyên góp là 5.000.000 VND đã được cung cấp để hỗ trợ sáng kiến tài trợ cho giống cá, thiết bị và vật liệu cần thiết cho đợt thả cá. Pilmico Việt Nam đã đóng góp 12.000 cá bột, với hơn 26 loài khác nhau, được thả vào Sông Cửu Long tại Thành phố Hồng Ngự. Ngoài ra, 12.000 con cá giống đã được phân phối cho các cơ sở nuôi trồng thủy sản địa phương chuyên nuôi và sản xuất cá bản địa.
