Aboitiz Foods, through Pilmico and in partnership with Aboitiz Foundation Inc., formally turned over a fully equipped bakery facility to the Masikap Abelling Farmers Inc., a people’s organization in Sitio Tala, Brgy. Burgos, San Jose, Tarlac.

This initiative is part of Panaderya sa Kanayunan, a livelihood project under the Philippine Army’s “Makabagong Bayanihan para sa Kabuhayan” program which is also supported by Pilmico’s Livelihood Kit Program. In addition to the bakery equipment, the program equips the Masikap Abelling Farmers, Inc. members with the necessary training to start sustainable businesses.

As Aboitiz Foods’ flagship CSR initiative, the Pilmico Livelihood Kit Program continues to nourish possibilities for aspiring entrepreneurs nationwide.
