Turning Fun Into Purpose
In May 2026, Maxime Pet Food partnered with Panabo BLUZ Agri-Ventures, Inc., and Batch 2002 of Maryknoll High School of Panabo (MSHP) to support the Run Fur Fun – the first-ever pet-friendly fun run in Panabo City, Davao Del Norte. The fundraising event brought together pet lovers and their furry companions for a day of wellness, connection, and purpose—raising awareness and support for pet welfare within the community.
As one of the event’s key sponsors, Maxime Pet Food organized activities for both pets and pet parents, including product selling and sampling, as well as technical consultations with veterinarians. Maxime also supported Panabo Animal Rescue Volunteers (PARVO) by providing 20 bags of pet food for race prizes and finisher rewards—helping make the event more meaningful and rewarding for participating pets and their families.
Additionally, Run Fur Fun’s “Miles for Meals” initiative supported rescued animals cared for by local animal welfare advocates, proving that every registration and every step taken could contribute to a worthy cause—encouraging responsible pet ownership while inspiring greater community involvement in supporting animal welfare.
On June 16, 2026, that shared purpose came to life as the Run Fur Fun organizers officially handed over the event’s financial and food donations to PARVO – supporting the feeding of rescued dogs and funding rehabilitation costs that keep the shelter’s doors open. It is a beautiful reminder that our love for our own pets can help other animals thrive, too.
