The Christmas season is a special time, especially in Filipino culture. It is a time that highlights the importance of sharing blessings and giving back to the community.

Last November and December, volunteer team members from Pilmico Animal Nutrition Corporation’s (Pilmico) various departments spread the holiday cheer to 640 families and 387 children across different cities. On November 29, 2023, 28 team members visited Brgy. Patola, Talugtug, Nueva Ecija. On December 1, 40 volunteers went to the Special Education (SPED) students of Capas East Central School & Capas West Central Elementary School in Tarlac. Finally, on December 12, 20 team members visited Brgy. Sto Niño Bamban, Tarlac.

Pilmico team members raised funds across the Feeds, Meats, and Farms divisions, with the help of the Aboitiz Foundation, for the Christmas baskets distributed to families.

Pilmico team members visited various communities and provided food for the children and families, played holiday-themed games, and distributed Christmas baskets to the families. This event was made possible through fundraising efforts across the Feeds, Meats, and Farms divisions made this event possible. The total amount raised was Php 78,565, with additional help from the Aboitiz Foundation, Inc.  (AFI).

The 2023 Christmas Outreach demonstrated a strong sense of teamwork as team members raised more funds and volunteered to visit various communities compared to last year.

Eighty-eight Pilmico team members from various departments volunteered for the outreach program and visited the Nueva Ecija and Tarlac communities.

Maria Corazon Olidar, Pilmico Cost Data Specialist who joined the outreach in Capas, Tarlac, shared her experience during the event, “My heart is overflowing with joy and happiness seeing our beneficiaries, SPED students, smiling and happy with what they received. I am grateful for the opportunity to share love, hope, and generosity with the people we care about and have an opportunity to connect with them, which can hopefully contribute to their greater well-being.”
